Volunteer Opportunities at EAC

Volunteers play a very important role in extending EAC's ability to offer badly needed services to members of our community.  Here is a little information about our organization and about specific volunteer opportunities that are now available...

Our Organization

For over twenty-five years, Employment Action Center (EAC) has been in the forefront of pioneering new methods to assist jobseekers and employers. Through partnerships with the community we help over 8,900 individuals a year to reach their career goals.

Our mission is to empower and prepare individuals to achieve their employment potential, while building diversity and actively opposing racism.

Through our five divisions we help a very diverse population ranging from teenagers getting interested in work to dislocated workers that have been laid off needing to find new employment to welfare-to-work clients that have been referred to us by the county. Each division has multiple programs within it and together we are able to assist people in meeting their goals.
