Youth & Young Parent Employment Services
EAC’s Youth and Young Parent programs offer a full range of employment services to help young people explore careers, plan for and access post-secondary education and training, obtain employment, and learn how to advance in their careers. Services include:
• Assessments to determine skills, aptitudes and interests
• Work maturity/pre-employment workshops
• Job shadowing opportunities
• Summer community service work experience
• Assistance with résumés and job applications
• Interviewing tips
• Job leads and job placement assistance
• Coaching and follow-up to support job retention and advancement
