Services for low-income adult jobseekers: Our services offer skill building and training programs that help jobseekers secure viable employment. This program coordinates all the services that a person in need of a job requires. We provide skill-building tutorials, weekly job leads, and a resource room where jobseekers can do job research and applications. We also provide interest assessment tools that will help you develop employment search skills. We can help connect you with training and vocational choices that are appropriate for your interests, skills, and needs. We offer a range of workshop topics that will help you get and keep your job. SKILLS 2000: The SKILLS program is a unique program that provides employment preparation services for students in Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. The program has locations in the inner cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, and works in partnership with the Minneapolis Public Schools Adult Education and St. Paul adult literacy programs. SKILLS participants obtain the education and job skills needed for the current job market. SKILLS counselors provide workshops that reflect the current job market needs and work with employers to further our participants’ success.
TRAILS: The TRAILS program is a suburban housing program operated through a cooperative agreement between the city of St. Louis Park and HUD. It is a referral only program, and clients must be enrolled with the St. Louis Park housing program to obtain services.
