Adult Programs

Last year we served over 1,000 individuals, and helped 85% of them obtain jobs at an average wage of $9.25 an hour. In 2006 the City of Minneapolis recognized us as the best placement agency for adults.

EAC’s adult programs offer a wide range of services for low-income jobseekers:

• One-to-one career counseling and assessments
• Résumé development
• Tips on interviewing techniques
• Information on short term job training
• Transportation assistance
• Resource rooms equipped with computers, fax, telephones and copiers
• Workshops on job seeking and job keeping topics
• Job placement assistance and connections to employers
• Referrals to community resources
• Somali-, Hmong- and Spanish-speaking staff
